Tangshan Xinfeng Thermoelectric Co., Ltd. uses blast furnace gas and converter gas from Guofeng and Beisteel to generate electricity and heating. The company can generate 350 million KWH of electricity per year, consume 170,000 cubic meters of blast furnace gas, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 320,000 tons. Tangshan Xinfeng Thermal Power Company has become an important part of the circular economy in Fengnan area, and has been identified by the Tangshan Municipal Government as an energy saving and emission reduction test demonstration site.
