On the morning of March 19, Guofeng North Business Science and Innovation Demonstration Zone and Xinfeng International Project kickoff activity was held in our district. District Party secretary Zhao Lihua announced the start of the project.
Huo Qiang, deputy secretary of the District Party Committee and district mayor, presided over the project commencement activities. He pointed out that the official start of the Guofeng North Business Science and Innovation Demonstration Zone and the Xinfeng International Project is a vivid practice of the in-depth implementation of the Municipal Party Committee to accelerate the construction of new urbanization and urban renewal strategy in our district, and a major project of our district to create "industry + talent home", "service + life home" and more and better Chinese modern Fengnan scene. It will effectively promote the quality of Fengnan's urban economic transformation, the upgrading of urban taste, and the significant improvement of the mass happiness index. It is necessary to take this start activity as an opportunity to gather strength, press ahead, organize construction scientifically and efficiently, strengthen the construction of infrastructure in the demonstration area, build an urban environment with diverse industrial layout and complete functional support, attract the investment enthusiasm of market players, form a strong magnetic field for attracting funds and projects, and provide strong support for accelerating the construction of high-quality development demonstration areas and ecological livable model areas.

It is understood that the planning scope of Guofeng North business science and innovation Demonstration Zone is north to Nanhu Avenue, south to Shengda Street, east to Tangxu Road, west to Tangfeng South Road, with a planning area of 3620 acres. The demonstration zone is positioned as finance and commerce, scientific and technological innovation, headquarters economy, culture and sports and boutique communities, and plans to invest 18 billion yuan to take the lead in the construction of sports center, Xinfeng International and high-end residential projects, and strive to build public service facilities such as parks, schools, kindergartens and parking lots in the demonstration zone and surrounding areas. In accordance with the development pattern of integrating industry and city, revitalizing the city by production and gathering people, we will strive to build this region into a leading zone for the coordinated development of finance, commerce, sports, science and innovation and a leading demonstration zone for high-quality development in the south of the downtown area of Tangshan in 3 years.
